In his latest in a long strings of runs – ins with the law, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine — along with three associates– was arrested last Sunday night by federal agents on a nunber of racketeering, weapons, and drug charges. If convicted, Tekashi could face life in prison.
Yesterday he was denied bail at his arraignment after offering $1.7 million in cash and surrendered his passport. Well, Tekashi is currently in prison and is getting NO VIP treatment while he awaits his next bail hearing.
According to TMZ 6ix9ine was placed in the general population of Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. It should be noted that a CNN report previously described the MDC as “extremely dangerous, violent, or escape-prone,” citing the US Justice Department.
There’s also this … prosecutors expressed Monday just how much of a target Tekashi had been prior to his arrest this weekend. One prosecutor told a judge ex-members of Tekashi’s crew “wanted to super violate him” following his appearance on the ‘Breakfast Club’ … where he accused his inner circle of turning on him.
