Philadelphia 76ers Flying Meek Mill To Boston As Game 2 Good Luck Charm, & Meek & Jay Z Team Up For Amazon Docu-Series

Rapper Meek Mill will join the Philadelphia 76ers in Boston for the team’s Game 2 matchup Thursday night against Celtic as a guest of 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin, a team source told ESPN’s Sal Paclantonio.

According to the sources, the Sixers team will fly Meek Mill with them for Game 2 of their series in Boston. There’s a hope, Meek Mill’s lucky streak will rub off on the Sixers rotation.

Before traveling to Boston, Meek Mill joined Rubin, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf and other leaders in Philly for a criminal reform rally.

Following his release from prison on bail, Meek Mill has been working towards fulfilling his promise of shedding more light on the injustices that minorities go through every day at the hands of America justice system. He has just signed a new deal for a documentary, which will document his past experiences the past year.

Executive produced by Jay Z and Roc Nation, Amazon Studios will be broadcasting a six-part documentary series which will follow Meek’s case closely. Not only that, but fans will get an inside look at Meek’s life as he maneuvers through his rap career and how his problem with the law are one of thousands of cases that go unheard of every day across the country. It will also touch on the corruption within the Philadelphia Justice system and conspiracy behind his imprisonment.

The series has no title as of yet, but it is expected to be released in 2019.
