On Thursday Record Label Mabala Noise surprised everyone when they announce that they’re letting go some of the artists on their roster with immediate effect, but they did not comment on the names of artist affected by the cut.

Following the announcement Sikhulile Nzuza, who manages the label reportedly told TshisaLIVe, that the company could not comment on who they had let go because they were “still in talks with some of the artist affected.” However, he did confirm that Nasty C, Khanyi Mbau, and Gigi Lamayne would remain on the company’s book after the reshuffle.

“Nasty C is definitely staying. We have massive plans for him which includes projects here and abroad. We have no issues with Nasty C and will keep supporting him and pushing his career,” Sikhulile said.

He went on to stress how serious the label is with the cut. This comes after an alleged embezzlement fiasco that engulfed the label and led to the dismissal of its media liaison officer Mhlo Gumede.
