Earlier this year, some footage of Kevin Hart supposedly having sex with stripper Montia Sabba (who’s not his wife) leaked. Everyone thought that Sabbag recorded the footage in an attempt to extort money from Kevin Hart. But it turns out that one of Hart’s close friend was behind the extortion.
Jonathan Todd, was arrested and Charged with two felony count of extortion, he was arrested on April 30 and held on $100,000 bail, according to The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office. He was charged with one count each of attempted extortion and extortion by threatening letter.
“Jackson is accused of trying to extort an undisclosed amount of money from Kevin Hart between Aug. 25 and Aug.30, 2017,” a press release from the DA’s office read. “Jackson allegedly had a videotape of the actor with a woman in Las Vegas and then is accused of trying to sell the recording to numerous celebrity news websites, prosecutors said.”
Jackson is an actor and buddy of Hart’s for 15 years. Jackson has been in Hart films like “Naked,” “S.W.A.T.” and “Think Like A Man Too.” They’ve been seen in Instagram photos together, and Jackson was one of the guests at Hart’s bachelor party, so it comes as a huge surprise. If convicted, Jackson could face up to four years in county Jail.
Today, the Jumani star took to Twitter and expressed his disappointment about the news.
Mind blown…Hurt…at a lost for words and simply in complete disbelief at the moment. WOW
